How you earn one
Four steps, from your first lesson to a certificate you can share.
Enroll and learn
Pick a course and work through it at your own pace. Your progress is saved lesson by lesson.
Finish every lesson
When you reach 100%, your certificate is created automatically. It stays locked until the next step.
Pass the final exam
Score at least the passing mark (60% unless the course sets its own). You get 3 attempts by default.
Unlock and share
Pass, and the certificate unlocks at once. Print it, download it, or share its link.
Locked means the lessons are done but the exam is still to pass.
Unlocked means you passed. You can print, download and share it.
What is on your certificate

It states who completed which course.
Instructor and date
The course instructor and the day it was issued.

Questions people ask
Where do I find my certificates?
Sign in and open Certificates in your student dashboard. Every course you have completed appears there, locked or unlocked.
Why does my certificate say it is locked?
You have finished the lessons, but the final exam is still to be passed. Take the exam from the locked certificate and it unlocks as soon as you pass.
What if I do not pass the exam?
You can try again until your attempts run out. The page shows how many you have used and what score you need.
Can I share my certificate?
Yes. An unlocked certificate has its own link. Anyone you send it to can open it, with no account needed.
Is it a degree?
No. A GreyAcademy certificate shows that you completed a GreyAcademy course and passed its exam. It is not a university degree or an accredited qualification.
