Refund and Cancellation Policy

We want you to be happy with what you buy on GreyAcademy. This policy explains when you can get a refund for a paid course, how to ask for one and how it is paid back. It applies to purchases made on the GreyAcademy Platform and forms part of our Terms of Service.

Free courses cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Cancelling or stopping a course does not by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds are given only as described below.

You can ask for a refund of a paid course within 7 days of the date you bought it, if you are not satisfied. Courses that are marked as non-refundable on their course page are not covered by this window.

We review each request on its own facts. A refund is normally approved when:

• you ask within 7 days of purchase;
• you have not completed the course or been issued its certificate;
• you have not misused the course, for example by sharing your account, copying or distributing the material; and
• the course was not marked non-refundable when you bought it.

• the request is made after 7 days from purchase;
• the course has been completed or a certificate has been issued;
• our records show the course material was copied, downloaded or shared in breach of the Terms, or the account was shared;
• the account was suspended or closed for breaking the Terms;
• the course was marked non-refundable on its page at the time of purchase; or
• we find the request is part of a pattern of repeated purchases and refunds.

If we decline a request, we will tell you the reason.

• If you were charged twice for the same course, we will refund the duplicate payment.
• If your money was debited but your enrolment was not activated, contact us with the transaction reference. We will either activate your enrolment or refund the amount.
• These cases are not limited by the 7-day window, but please tell us as soon as you notice them.

If we remove a paid course you bought, or end your access to it for a reason that is not a breach of the Terms by you, we will refund the amount you paid for that course or give you equivalent access, whichever you prefer where possible.

Send your request through the contact form (choose the subject “Billing & Payments”) or email hello@greyacademy.co.in from the email address of your GreyAcademy account. Please include:

• the course name and the date you bought it;
• the payment or transaction reference;
• a short reason for the request; and
• for manual payments, the account or UPI ID the money came from.

We usually reply within the response time shown on our contact page. We may ask for more information to verify the purchase.

• Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method wherever possible. For manual payments, we refund to the account or UPI ID the payment came from, after confirming the details with you.
• We start the refund promptly after approval. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank, card network or payment provider, and is usually several business days.
• The refund is for the amount you actually paid for that course, including the GST charged on it. Payment charges levied by third parties that we cannot recover may not be refunded where the law allows.
• Referral credits, reward points and similar promotional credits have no cash value and are not refunded in cash. If a coupon was used, we may reissue it at our discretion.
• When a refund is approved, your access to that course ends and any certificate for it may be withdrawn.

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first so we can fix it quickly. If you raise a chargeback with your bank without contacting us, we may suspend your access while the dispute is resolved. Nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

We may update this policy. The version and dates are shown at the top of this page. A change applies to purchases made after its effective date; purchases made earlier stay under the policy that applied when you bought.
